6pm-9pm The Stilletos, DJ and dance competition

There will be two 20 minute band breaks between 6 and 9pm. The dance competition will take place during these breaks. Guests wanting to enter the competition can register in the Dreamcatcher each Sunday when doors open at 4:45pm. First Place $5000, Second Place $3000, Third Place $2000.Event is free to attend, free to compete, 21 and up only.

Join Paul Seaforth and his magic trumpet and Downbeat Big Band this Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. for an afternoon of live jazz and dance music.  We’ll be at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Building located at 299 “I” Street in Chula Vista.  The cost is $7.00 at the door; $5.00 seniors/students.  Bring your dancing shoes!

Description SOCK HOP on Saturday! Come join us at ZLAC for a fun 1950’s evening! We will start with some great music, beverages and snacks at 5pm. Don’t know how to swing? No problem because we will then be treated to a dance lesson by the terrific instructors Joe N’ Elizabeth. Swing Dancers willing to help with the lesson and dance all night will benefit from a discounted price. We will be dancing the night away to the terrific tunes of the live Rip Carson Band!
